The Information Management Working Group (IMWG) is a technical working group that focuses on IM and is attended by the respective cluster IMOs. It is hosted by OCHA (or the alternative coordination body) and will involve regular meetings in which updates and pressing issues are discussed. The focus of the IMWG will be determined by the respective agencies and clusters however, the purpose in general of the IMWG is to develop data standards, general information coordination around assessments, Common Operational Datasets (COD), indicators, maps, web platforms, and information sharing protocols. Furthermore, it is the platform in which OCHA shares updates on coordination to cluster IMOs. More details are available here. As IMO for the FS Cluster your attendance is mandatory, and you will likely be required to provide operational updates. Make sure you are included in the OCHA mailing lists (eg for the IMWG) and also ensure you know who the respective focal points are.
