At the intersectoral level, the Joint Intersectoral Analysis Framework (JIAF) sets the global standards for the analysis and estimation of humanitarian needs. Developed by a partnership that includes some of the largest donors, UN agencies and clusters (including the gFSC), it represents the backbone of the HNO by providing information on overall PIN and intersectoral severity, key drivers and characteristics of those most affected, linkages and patterns of needs.
The FSC IMO has a role to play in JIAF, as described in the Step-by-Step guidance.
