4.6.4. Static vs Interactive

Prev Next

The IM products can be either in static or interactive format. Please note that it is not mandatory to replicate/ produce both a static and interactive product. The choice will depend on a number of criteria; for instance, in cases with limited connectivity and/ or when a specific message needs to be presented, it is suggested that static fulfils a role; in cases when stakeholders require / need detailed information (e.g., response data at admin 3 level), interactive dashboards can better suited to such requests. Find here the gFSC standards (for quality static and interactive products) providing a detailed check list of things to do / not do during the process.

*Key Tip: the IMO has a key role, to ensure that core metrics and informative messages are portrayed clearly and concisely. It should be a standalone product that does not require the audience/ viewer to require bilateral confirmation for example.
