4.6.2. Clearance of the products

It is important that all products, both the mandatory and ad-hoc products, are cleared by the Cluster Coordinator and then by the CLAs. This is for several reasons, notably to avoid any miscommunication or incorrect information from being disseminated, secondly to ensure that the messages disseminated are aligned to the CLAs. It is critical that the Cluster does not disseminate information and figures that contradicts the CLAs. If there are discrepancies, then it is necessary for the IMO to understand why this exists and if logical to work with the CLAs to ensure messaging is clear.
