Engaging actively in inter-cluster as well as bilateral coordination with key clusters is a priority for the FSC coordination team. Addressing food security concerns may require collective or, at a minimum, coordinated action from multiple clusters. This includes joint planning and implementation, joint assessments, communication, advocacy, field visits as well as working to strengthen integration between food security domains (food assistance, agriculture and livelihoods) and other sectors where possible. See 4.3.2 and 4.3.3 on inter-sector coordination and joint planning (for example on the “4Cs” comprising joint initiatives between the FSC, Nutrition Cluster, WASH Cluster and Health Cluster).
