In accordance with the six core cluster functions for clusters, the FSC and the Coordinator will actively support robust advocacy initiatives with the aim of helping mobilize funds, support and raising awareness of the FSC’s activities, plans and gaps. The Coordinator should advocate on behalf of the FSC partners with donors on what a given food security situation is and what needs to be done to improve food security situation and ensure accountability to affected populations.
