    The Humanitarian Programme Cycle (HPC) was part of the Transformative Agenda protocols and represents the technical implementation of the vision of the Transformative Agenda. IASC Principals agreed on the use of common tools to manage each phase of the HPC from needs assessments to reporting. Still today, the HPC remains the collective response framework activated in all countries and response contexts with activated clusters and humanitarian country teams.

    What is the FSC Coordinator’s role? The FSC Coordinator plays an active role in all phases of the HPC, including a leading role in setting sector specific priorities by bringing partners together to shape the HNO and HRP – see chapter 9.1 for a detailed overview of the HPC and the role of the Coordinator.
